First crowdfunding event in Cork

first_img The Cork Foundation, in association with The Funding Network (TFN), is holding its first crowdfunding event in Cork city in November.Before the event four Cork charities will be selected to attend the event and will each be given six minutes to present their social initiative to a room full of Cork business leaders and potential donors. Applications close on 30th September.TFN are specialists in hosting live crowdfunding events and have already brought their successful model to Ireland, hosting a live crowdfunding session with Philanthropy Ireland in 2015.Karen Millen, UK Operations Manager, TFN, said:“We’re delighted to be partnering with the Cork Foundation to bring TFN back to Ireland.
