first_imgHome » News » Agencies & People » Sales negotiators have the best chance of getting a new job, industry research shows previous nextAgencies & PeopleSales negotiators have the best chance of getting a new job, industry research showsJob advertising data from a leading recruitment has discovered the most in-demand roles within the sales and lettings sectors, and the cities where they are to be found.Nigel Lewis20th August 20200547 Views Sales negotiating remains the most in-demand skillset within the property industry, new research has found.Industry recruitment firm Rayner Personnel looked at the number of available jobs listed for sales negotiators, lettings negotiators, sales progressors, lettings progressors, valuers, mortgage brokers, mortgage advisors and branch managers across 20 major UK cities.The research also found that London has the most vacancies, closely followed by Birmingham and Manchester and that, along with five other cities, sales negotiator were the most in-demand role being advertised for.This includes Swansea, where 42% of all jobs listings across these eight professions in the city are for negs, while in Manchester it’s 32% of all job property job adverts.The other cities are Plymouth (26%), Liverpool (24%), Birmingham (24%), Bristol (22%), Leeds (21%) and Sheffield (17%).“Many may be worried about finding themselves out of work as recession hits and in time like these, we may be forced further out of our comfort zones than we might otherwise like, whether that be through the role itself or where we go to find work,” says Josh Rayner, the agency’s CEO (left).“We wanted to highlight which cities currently offered the best chance of securing a job in your chosen position, or where is in need of a certain role that you may have been considering as a chance in career direction.”“It’s interesting to see how the demand for certain roles varies on a regional basis.“Mortgage advisers are in strong demand across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the south coast, while in London branch managers are the greatest requirement, with sales negs the most prominent role across other major regional cities outside of the capital.”property jobs Josh Rayner recruitment August 20, 2020Nigel LewisWhat’s your opinion?
