And they now appear to have made some progress, with the Spanish newspaper claiming he will put pen to paper on a deal which runs until 2025.Ter Stegen currently earns around £140,000 a week at the Nou Camp, but his wages are certain to increase significantly in the new contract.The 28-year-old joined Barca from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014 and has developed into one of the club’s most important players.The LaLiga side had struggled to reach an agreement with Ter Stegen’s agent over the last month, but Sport say they have now “sorted their differences”.Bayern were linked with a world-record £90 million bid for the Germany international in March, although their interest now appears to have cooled.
