There will be no repeat champion in the West Kootenay Flag Football League.For the second straight year the Castlegar Vikings played the role of spoiler, knocking off defending WKFFL champion Dam Inn Mates 19-13 in semi final action Sunday at the Mount Sentinel Field.The Vikings meet Nelson Hour Glass in the league final Sunday at high noon at Mount Sentinel. Hour Glass outlasted a short staffed Brewers squad 26-12 in the other semi final.Quarterback Steve Mota ran in for the winning touchdown with time running out in the game to give the Vikings the upset win.In 2011, the Vikings upset regular season champ Hour Glass to reach the final.last_img
